Ways to improve Sociopolitical issues of anatomy in America in the 19th century

[edit]

Hi, I'm Mabalu. KaylaMa, thanks for creating Sociopolitical issues of anatomy in America in the 19th century!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. Excellent first article, please do consider adding more references to support the information within, as there are some completely unreferenced sections and a number of statements that should be cited. Also please do add more in-line wikilinks to other pages to incorporate into the encyclopaedia, and would be good to link this article from other pages if possible, as it is currently really only linked to from the main article on history of anatomy in the 19th century.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.

Comments on Sociopolitical issues of anatomy in America in the 19th century

[edit]

First of all, I think you did a great job KaylaMa. I was especially drawn to the "Anatomy Museums" section. I have only one suggestion. I would like to have what you said in the second paragraph, "Initially set up to teach people the natural and moral sciences of the human body, anatomy museums gradually declined in status with the progress of medical science and education," expanded on to get a more comprehensive sense in what medical/educational changes led to this decline. Again, great job. I enjoyed reading it! (Diegoluytoto (talk) 02:29, 21 March 2017 (UTC))[reply]

Thanks Diegoluytoto for your comments! I have added more elaboration on the changes in medical and scientific education, do let me know what you think! KaylaMa (talk) 05:24, 26 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

KaylaMa, there are still problems with your nomination: that the hook has not been properly formatted with a bold link to your article is a major sticking point. There are people in your class you can consult, and Wikipedians specifically available to help you and your classmates (see the Welcome above on this page). You really need to take the time to address this soon if you wish to continue pursuing this nomination. BlueMoonset (talk) 02:31, 2 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
BlueMoonset, I have looked at other hooks and edited my nomination. How can I further improve it? Thanks! KaylaMa (talk) 02:47, 2 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Laurence H. Snyder, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Trait and Paternity. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
